Abdullah,
God is Omnipresent, God is Omniscient, God is Omnipotent. Jesus is God, come in the flesh. The Bible is specific that as a human he purposefully limited his divine attributes and abilities.. this had to happen for Him to be fully man. But He was also fully God and at no time did He give up His place as Almighty God when He became man. We have discussed this over and over again in the forums.
Can God be everywhere? Psalm 139:7 speaks of it so clearly
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens you are there. If I make my bed in the depths you are there. If I rise on the wings of dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast."
The entire Psalm is a precious one talking of the omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence of God. Please read it.
Let me encourage though.. yes it's a hard concept for even Christians to understand, yet, it doesn't stop it being true. If anything as I posted in an earlier post today, if anything, it makes God even greater, that He should love us so much, He would limit Himself on this earth for a time.. yet never cease to be God in the heavenlies.
Why did Jesus pray to His heavenly Father.. easy. Read Matthew 5 when the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. His whole life was a model of the life of the believer. He patterened and showed the importance of relationship and of communication between those who love each other. Though Father, Son and Holy Spirit, might be One God, expressed in three persons, they still communicate to each other. The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit prays to God as well. Romans 8:26.
Prayer is the life force of the believer. It is the very basic and yet the most powerful way of learning the will of God. Jesus knew it both as man communicating with His Heavenly Father, and as God the Son, communicating with God the Father. Where does this in anyway imply that God the Son cannot be God if He prays to God the Father?
I totally agree with you.. if we try to understand these things, we limit God. It's only be faith and knowing that He is the God of the impossible does He stay God to us. He has chosen to give me a glimpse of Himself in Christ Jesus, but, there is way much more about Him that is beyond my ability to understand. This is my God. Let me share with you the words of a song I love very much to explain things more clearly.
It's by Graham Kendrick and is called Meekness and Majesty. I'll only quote a few lines, but here is the link to the full song.

Meekness and Majesty, Manhood and Deity
In perfect harmony, the Man who is God
Lord of eternity, dwells in humanity
Kneels in humility and washes our feet
Oh what a mystely, Manhood and Deity
Bow down and worship,
For this is your God.
