See, what you did was to express a different message in different words. I understand that you see homosexuality as a sin. The message of this passage isn't about that, though, so what you've done is a reworking of the meaning itself. Ergo, it's not a paraphrasing at all. You can't simply change words in the bible to fabricate a passage that means what you want it to. I could just as easily change the word "adultery" into "heterosexuality (I might add that this would be closer to the original meaning in that "adultery" in this passage was clearly meant as between a man and a woman)," thereby changing the meaning of the passage in the same way as you have. Would I be wrong for doing so?
