ArchivedThe Bible is accuratePeace OneGOD, Where did you get that from? An Islamic site? So the three Gospels disagree on two of the people that Peter denied Jesus to which is very irrelevant. The Gospels all have the messages and parables of Jesus. They all show Him to be the Messiah, the Son of God the Father. They all record the Passion, Death, and Ressurection of Jesus Christ. Also, inspiration by the Holy Spirit--which you wouldn't believe anyways because you don't recognize the existence of the Holy Spirit--is different from direct dictation. Direct dictation does not requite accounts of eyewitnesses, and has no discrepencies. The Gospelers where moved by the Spirit to people who knew the life of Jesus. Now the book of Revelation was written by a certain John under the direct dictation of an angel, so there are no errors or discrepencies of any kind in that book. It's accurate on what's important, not very minute things like who Peter denies Jesus to. Now the Quran isn't very accurate for a very good reason. It "borrows" things from various sources. Whoever wrote it had copies of the Infancy Gospels and the Talmud in addition to the Bible. |
