Ok, let's turn toi the most reliable translation of the bible, the NAB.
Here is the translation:
For a child is born to us, a son is given us; upon his shoulder dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace.
How does it define each term?
Wonder-Counselor: remarkable for his wisdom and prudence
God-Hero: a warrior and a defender of his people, like God himself.
Father-Forever: ever devoted to his people
Prince of Peace: his reign will be characterized by peace.
Well, Jesus was not a warrior and did not defend his people (the Jews AT ALL)
Also, Jesus according to your terms is not really devoted to his people (The Jews of course)
Just accept it, Other versions translated it incorrectly to mislead the millions of people like you into believing.
ANyway, it's just a name anyway. Arabic and Jewsih naming are very similar in nature.
We call God in arabic "Al-Rahman" meaning The Mericful
We can call someone Rahman meaning Merciful, but does that mean he is God, no. It's just a name after all.
Now only christians interpret this name as it is God himself.
And again, God's Hero does not equal The mighty God ==>HUGE DIFFERENCE.
I also read the verse in Arabic and it does not imply at all something about the future.
One more question and this is out of the subject and I don't want to make a debate out of it?
If the word of God is translated, is the translated word of God the word of God?
