Yeah. What about all that "let he who is without sin, cast the first stone", stuff? Guess we should forget about that huh?
Now this is gonna sound like a corny cliche, but I really believe this. If only one life is changed for the better, one soul saved, is that not worth it. And I've read and watched interviews where people on the set went into this project non-christians, and came out Christians. I believe the same will happen to some of the people who see this movie.
And as far as the anti-semitism, anyone leaving this movie hating the Jews, already has hatred for the Jews. This movie teaches to love everyone, even your enemies. Maybe some people who hate Jews, and for some reason view them as an enemy, will learn to love them after watching this movie. I also think there's a greater chance of "anti-semitism" towards the people whining about this movie, than the movie itself.
Oh let's not make a movie showing how the Jews hand Christ over to the Romans demanding him to be executed. While we are at it, let's not teach about how white people stole America from the Indians, or how white people treated slaves. We wouldn't want any anti-semitism towards white people. And let's not teach anymore about the holocaust, because we wouldn't want any anti-semitism towards the Germans. Let's all just stay in our protective bubbles and bake cookies all day.
