Aineo said:For this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins."
Answer this question for me what is the "covenant" mentioned in this verse? Before we get to the subject of keeping 220 commandments .
No one ever said there are 220 commandments, you said that in your statement above!!, if you go look at my prior post I stated, there are 220 verses on( communion keeping )and the reasons of why this is so important in our walk with christ and love for him.
You had showed me your selected couple of verses on communion keeping and then asked me how it is a commandment.. I showed you why it is the first commandment then I showed you the gosple of John where he states this.
The Covenant is this blood which we turn to daily or when we go to church, and in this blood,, we find that our sins have been washed away, that we are at peace with God, and we look forward to our arrival in that day when God brings us into his kingdom.
All of us are to live daily under the protection of the blood of the lamb of God. But God does not lie, and the danger of remaining in our sins, is not just a danger of death, but of an everlasting death, which is the eternal punishment of hell. This is why the words Drink of this all of you, is a command and why communion keeping is important.
it would be easy to for all of us to become complacent, or to believe that there is no real danger, and that we do not need to live daily under the protection of the blood of the lamb of God.
The body and blood of Jesus Christ, given and shed for us ALL for the forgiveness of our sins. When christ died on the cross he died for all of us sinners, his job was done, our job here was not it was just the beginning for us faithful christians to strive and endure to the the end in a continual journey of Faith and love walking with christ so he may judge us worthy as his followers of his WORD.
