Also, the Constitution was designed to protect every U.S. citizen's rights. And last I checked, same-sex "marriage" was not one of those rights, and it never should be.
dont you remember, another one of the things blacks were not allwoed to do was marry non blacks.
and dont forget abotu amendments, the constitution is a living doccument, it is made to be changed and addapted over time. true, back in 1776, gay marrige is unheard of, but it isnt now, so we should change out constituion to account for it.
