ArchivedIt is against true Christianity to force moralitGays should be allowed to marry. What right do "Christians" have to force anyone to live as if they are santified. Jesus himself told Pilate that his kingdom is not of this world. To those that do not know what Jesus meant - let me explain.....Jesus was basically saying that the carnal world is like the darkest night compared to the brightest day of the Spirit. Even Jesus respected the separation between Church and state - meditate on that verse (John 18:36). To put this in proper Biblical perspective, Jesus intial coming was not to condemn the world, but to love them to repentance - Jesus is the ultimate smooth operator. He didn't come to judge sinners, but to invite them to come to him, not to force them - but to invite them. Jesus is a God of free will; he will not force anyone to go to Heaven, in the same way he will not prevent you from going to hell if that is want you really want. Upon his second coming he will judge sinners; this is the reason we should not stand in front of homosexuals or any kind of sinner and try to force them to live as if they're born again- what maddness; You can not scale a fish until you catch him. You can preach to a reprobate until you are blue in the face - they will think you are mad, which they should if they're really given up to reprobation. Let them marry, but don't dare call yourself a true Christian and attend that wedding, or go to the Church that would marry such people. These are the things which must occur before the coming of the Lord; don't let anyone dupe you into thinking that God makes anyone with such vile affection; it is a choice. I myself have chosen to live straight for the last 79 months - thankyou Jesus. I did it, so can anyone that wants to. I was blessed to find a wife that accepted my past, and I pray that more Christian women would do the same. |
