As to atheists and other religious groups being opposed to gay unions the subject you chose for this thread is forceing Christian morality on others when opposing gay unions is not Christian morality, it is human morality as taught in other faiths.
One question you seem to be avoiding is what does "love your neighbor" mean? I have quoted what Paul taught and you keep going to other verses written to the Jews and Christian's about internal or corporate relationships.
Can you be a light to the world and not take a position on gay unions that deny's God's design for human sexuality? We are ambassadors of Christ. Do our ambassadors to other nations simply accept their civil rights abuses? We cannot interfer in their internal affairs but we can refuse economic aid based on their civil rights abuses. Our ambassadors defend U.S. policy are we to do less for the Kingdom of Christ?
I have answered atleast twice what love your neighbor means; check and you will see.
If you would repeal the divorce laws and would justify denying folks the right to re-marry if they left a relationship that no infidelity occured ,then I would ask you on what basis would you use to justify such a radical approach ? Please answer this question as direct as you can ?
