Christian/Muslim ThreadsIf the devil can be a snake, cant God be a man?Human understanding is fine, but you just can't leave out the fact that God is working and sometimes you won't be able to understand it. Anyone can try to legitimize any belief, but that's where investigation comes in, as you said. And upon investigation, you'll find that all are sinners in need of a savior, and there is nothing we can do to get to heaven except believe in Jesus, just like the Bible says. God cannot act outside of His nature. His nature demands that He receive all honor and glory, and if He were to vest any of His power to any other god, that would be taking honor away from himself, so He cannot do this. In reference to my earlier arguments, as long as the task or results are not outside of God's nature, then He can do anything. No, because then I'd come up with the conclusions you did. Instead, I go to the Bible because it is God's Word and the absolute authority. Not so. God has given us everything we need to know His nature - His Word and His creation.
He can try, but his religion (and all others) are based on works, which basically makes them all the same, whereas Christianity is based on faith alone; and his religion is riddle with contradiction. I agree. And that's why the Bible tells us to "search the Scriptures to see if these things be so." |
