If I ask a question that is designed to take a thread off topic you have the right and responsibility to call me on it. My questions are designed to get honest answers that apply to the topic of the thread, not redirect the focus of the thread.
The topic of this thread is "Why pray to Mary?" You appeal to tradition, we appeal to Scripture. So the obvious question is where does the Bible state we should pray to the dead. You then try to avoid this by asking where does the Bible teach Scripture only and where does the Bible state we should not pray to the dead. This is an attempt to change the focus of the thread.
We have answered where the Bible prohibites necromancy. And any continued attempt to bring in Scripture only is off topic.
The burden of proof that we can pray to the dead, that the dead can hear us, and that the dead do intercede for us is yours; it is not up to us to disprove your doctrine since we did not make the affirmative statement.
You have appealed to books that neither we nor Jews accept as canon. So again you are appealing to tradition to establish a doctrine not the Bible.
