RomeSweetHome, the history is available for anyone willing to do the research. The linguistics are there for anyone willing to do the research. The Bible is there for anyone willing to read it.
You are apparently willing to do none of the above. Nor are you willing to even acknowledge other research.
So what point is there is trying to discuss anything with you? You have swallowed Catholic propaganda and those men's teachings hook, line, and sinker and you appear to be totally trapped by them.
If you dare, at some point in your life, open up your Bible and before you read, ask the Lord for wisdom, which James says we can and should ask for, and then start reading.
In the meantime, a couple of last responses. You are in italics.
What Church would you like me to appeal to? I am a Catholic, obviously I would appeal to the Catholic church its just common sence.
1. Catholics appeal to the Catholic church. That is their identity.
2. Christians appeal to Christ. That is their identity.
3. the word is 'sense', not 'sence'.
Length of history of the church that Christ built is very important.
And, interestingly, your reference to 'the past 1500 years' leaves out the entire first quarter of it.
For Christ sake, for God sake and for Heavens sake, am I blaspheming?
I didn't say you were. Your use of language there, however, is HIGHLY offensive to me and to other Christians on this board. IF you are going to insist on using them, however, please improve your English. Christ, God, and heaven should all have an " 's " to show belonging. As in "for Pete's sake."
I would think everyone here loves and strives to follow Christ.
I can state quite confidently that you don't. If you did, you would pay attention to what He said.
Yes I do know the Catholic arguments, as well as I know the various Protestant arguments. It just happens that Catholicism makes more sence at the end of the day.
1. That means, first of all, that you are depending on your own judgment. You have that much confidence in yourself?
2. That also means that you have read men's material, but clearly, from your posts, not God's. Don't you think it is time you actually started digging into the Bible, as in start to finish? Four or five chapters a day and you can have it finished in a year. It IS God's Word, you know.
Could you give me unbiast evidence to prove the above? various Protestant Churches use the round shaped communion wafers too!
History is unbiased. Start studying for yourself. And it does not matter what Protestant churches do. What matters is what Christ did and the claims of the RC church in opposition to that.
It was the Catholic Church that compiled the books of the bible if you do not know simple facts like that, it really shows your ignorance.
Total Catholic propaganda. That statement is absolutely and massively wrong. But, again, you would need to read UNBIASED (check the spelling on your post) history to know that was the case.
I suggest that it would be wise to know what you are talking about before you start spouting off on some of this stuff.
