Didn't I ask you NOT to tell me about the "I AM"? then you BOTH go ahead and tell me.
That is how God identified Himself to Moses at the burning bush. Thus, when Jesus identified Himself as the I AM, He was identifying Himself as God. If you do not like that, that is your problem.
John 2:4; 19:26 - when Jesus uses the title "woman" (gnyai), it is a title of dignity and respect. It is the equivalent of Lady or Madam. Jesus honored His Mother as God requires us to do.
Same title used for Mary Magdalene. Yes, Jesus did honor and respect women. But there is NOTHING in Scripture that indicates in any way that He elevated Mary above any other woman. And, in fact, He denied that potential elevation in Matthew 12:46-50. Interestingly, in that passage, he refers to "my brothers and my sisters" after being told His mother and brothers were standing outside waiting to see Him. He did not say 'brethren'. He said "adelphos", which is masculine, and "adelphe", which is the feminine. Are you trying to say He was talking about 'brethren' and 'sistren'? The fact that Mary came to see Him accompanied by at least some of her other sons is quite evident given a clear reading IN ANY LANGUAGE of that passage.
[Jn 19:25]: "Near the cross of Jesus stood His mother [Mary], his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene."
John wrote that. Does that surprise you? JESUS never once referred to His mother as anything but 'woman' in the Gospels.
It seems your bible studies have done you no justice.
