NIV Luke 8:10 10He said, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, 'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'
Just a thought.
NIV John 14:2-3 2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am.
NIV:
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
1 Kings 8:27 "But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!
2 Chronicles 2:6 But who is able to build a temple for Him, since the heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain Him? Who then am I to build a temple for Him, except as a place to burn sacrifices before Him?
Psalm 8:3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place,
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.
Isaiah 55:9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 65:17 "Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.
Joel 2:30 I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
Ephesians 4:10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.
Just my opinion: I believe that the many rooms or mansions that Jesus spoke of are the several levels of Heaven.
He is Lord
Peace and Godspeed
