Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesOneness debateI don't need to answer your other rebuttals, Apple Pie already refuted them. But as for your above statement, your way off base. Scripture is crystal clear that Yahweh gave man His Word in Hebrew, and Aramaic, and Chaldean, and possibly in Koine Greek, to some extent. Yahweh's Son spoke Hebrew, Chaldean, Aramaic, and even Greek. The reason I know Yeshua spoke Greek, stands as a concrete fact, because He was perfect and knew and knows all things! However, I can guarantee you that Yeshua did not speak English, because if He did, and He could have, no one would have understood Him, and this stands as a concrete fact, that His Name is not J-sus, which is a English name! There is no letter "J" in Aramaic, Hebrew, Chaldean, or even Koine Greek!!! Therefore Yahweh's Name is NOT J-hovah, and His Sons Name is not J-sus! Yeshua is His Name. Your self admittal that Yeshua did not speak Greek, but only Aramaic, means His Name would have to be a Aramaic Name, at least in your mind, and never a Greek (I-ouses) name misstranslated into an English name (J-sus)! Yeshua never authorized, commanded, or allowed for His Name to be changed from Yeshua to any other name, including the name J-sus! I place the dash in the name J-sus, in an effort to help you NOT mention that name, according to Exodus 23:13. This Scripture commands not to speak the names of other elohims. This includes the name L-rd, G-d and J-sus!! I guarantee you that when Yeshua spoke Yahweh's Name, He did not refer to Him as L-rd! L-rd is an English name... I live in California, and in this state, there are two primary languages. English, and Spanish... Yeshua lived in a land where there were Hebrews, and Greeks, thus two spoken languages. In order for Yeshua to reach out to the Greeks, He would have had to speak Greek! If Yeshua came to California, He would have to speak English and Spanish, or else the Mexicans in California, would have no way to learn the truth! The Greeks had their own language, and they were very proud of it. And yes, this would also mean that Yeshua's apostles would have had to speak Greek as well. Yeshua did command to go into all the world, and preach the good news. Matthew was a tax collector, and there is no doubt he knew Greek! Let me give you some advice. You need to do some serious research into Paleo Hebrew, and Koine Greek, (Scripture) before you enter in debates concerning biblical language usage. I would recommend that you begin to study to show yourself approved, because I can guarantee you that some of the folks who you will debate with are very advanced in the study of Hebrew, Paleo, and Modern Hebrew, that is..Anyone can go grab a Hebrew word, and make a statement, but only those who study the entire scriptures are able to make statements about the whole of scripture. Know the scriptures, for they are able to make you wise unto redemption. |
