Science, Creation & EvolutionbacteriaSeriously, viper, there's no need to be rude. Forums are about the exchange of ideas. None yet, and no transitional fossils either. What we do know is that the universe, and by extention the Earth, is old. Even though we only know the speed of light in a vacuum, this measurment still seems to coroborate with the speed at which the universe reveals itself, as measured against the distance between celestial bodies. That space is not actualy a vacuum probably makes light SLOWER than in our experiments, meaning the universe could be even older than we think. If God created the universe in six days, six thousand years ago, then we shouldn't nearly as much in the sky as we do. Also, if the Earth were to be flooded like it was supposed to have been, we know the air would be so thick with moisture that it would have been impposible for Noah and company to breath. Science is not perfect, but it's infinitly more trustable than religion, even if it does makes it own outragous claims. |
