Isaiah 29
9.
Wait and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind!
They are drunk, but not {with} wine!
They slip, but not {with} liquor.
10.
For has poured out on you
Yahweh a spirit of deep sleep
and has closed your eyes.
The prophets and your heads,
the seers, He has covered.
11.
And has been to you vision

And says the Lord,
Because this(book) draws near people with their mouth,
and with their lips they honor Me,
but their heart {is} far from Me.
And is their `reverence' of Me the command(Laws) {by} men taught.
7. Ye hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
8. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
14.
Therefore, look, I am adding to do wonders with people this,
the wonder, even a wonder.
For will perish the wisdom of his wise ones.
And the wit of his witty ones will be hidden.
25. At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
26. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

And who knows us?

Will as the clay the former be counted.
That will say what is made to its maker,
not He Did make me?
Or what is formed say to its former,
not He understands?
20. Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21. Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
22. What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23. And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory
