Science, Creation & EvolutionWhy is Academia evolutionist? That which is true. There are things we all know are true, that we cannot prove. No. Theories supported by a great deal of evidence. No, but fortunately, there are other sources of evidence for them. Which one? That is not a slap at accounting. It is not shameful to not be a science. Science is just a method and a process, after all, and it is not universally applicable to solving problems. Another branch of mathematics, statistics, does that for science. Without it, we would be lost. No, that's just the second step. The key is evidence. Science can only make inferences on evidence. For example, we conclude that Lucy was bipedal because the structure of her hips, legs, and feet show that she moved in that manner. We conclude that she was transitional, because the angle of the hips and the position of the femur was not quite as advanced as it is in humans. We conclude that Australopithicenes, although bipedal, were also still capable climbers, because their finger and toe bones are still slightly curved. |
