Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesDistinct PersonsListen to what you have just said, if we as trinitarians state that the Father is God by Himself, then how can the Son be God. Neither me nor another trinitarian stated the the Father "HIMSELF" is God but that the Son posseses Deity as well. The word was with{pros}God{theos}and{kai}the word{logos}was{en}God{theos} It clearly states that the Word{JESUS} was "WITH" God and was God, if Jesus is the Father then who is "WITH" God? Assumption #1:The word is the mind and thought of God. John 17:24 - Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. John 17:5 - And now, O Father, glorify thou me thine (own self) with the glory which I(Gods mind and thought) had with thee before the world was. John 17:24 - Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me(Gods mind and thought) before the foundation of the world. God reffering to His Mind and Thought as in comparison to "ME", "OWN SELF" and "YOU" makes NO SENSE AT ALL! Without avoiding my question and answering it with another, please give me a direct answer. God Bless! |
