Homosexual Discussion Forumalright, im really sick of you type of ChristiansWell, who are our brothers and sisters? This is a paraphrase from Ezekiel and your are using it out of context. You are not Ezekiel and God has not appointed us to be the watchman over mankind this is the Holy Spirit's job since it is the Holy Spirit who convicts men of sin and of righteousness. Our job is to preach the gospel, not judge the behavior of those outside our faith. What are churches doing in our society? Some are normalizing homosexuality, some have normalized divorce and remarriage, and other teach doctrines that are the antithesis of God's truth. The church and Christian need to clean up our own house before we even try to clean up someone elses. Jesus put it this way: Matthew 7:1-5 7:1 "Do not judge lest you be judged. 2 "For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. 3 "And why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye? 5 "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. NAS If you are without sin then you might be able to judge sinners. Paul put it this way: Romans 2:1-4 1 Therefore you are without excuse, every man of you who passes judgment, for in that you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2 And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things. 3 And do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment upon those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
