Alexei,
Thankyou for your explanation. I'm still trying to understand this whole concept of the justice of Allah as seen in the Qur'an though. The more I am reading, the more convinced I am that the lines are hazy, between what is "sin" and what isn't, what produces shame and what doesn't. What is acceptable Wadu and what isn't. What is a "good deed" that will provide the counter balance to the "bad deeds", the idea of predestination, and yet forgiveness if you accept Islam. The concept of never being certain of your salvation until you arrive before the throne on judgement day. The fact that Allah does what He wills, yet Muhammad is said to be able to pray on your behalf as a mediator on judgement day.
Would you have time to expand on all of this for me? Please remember, that I am trying to find where you all get your peace from. My faith provides me with a framework of forgiveness for my sins, a cleansing from all shame and defilement and a relationship with God for now, and assurance of eternity with Him in the future.
As I said to Lady Fatima in one of the other threads, I do understand that you have different sects in Islam as we do in Christianity, and like us, you would consider many of them heretical. But, how do you interpret truth, when you also have some major divisions in Islam (Sunni, Shi'a and Sufi to be exact) each with their own "understanding" of some of these important doctrines in Islam
I wish you peace and give you my appreciation for your answers Alexei
