Archivedwhat is the problem??????Isa 62:7
7 And give Him no rest until He establishes
And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. NAS
The Hebrew translated "establishes" in the NAS can also be translated confirms. OT:3559

The second half of vs. 7 states: "And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth." At this juncture Jerusalem is not "praise" on the earth; Jerusalem is a city of contention. "And makes": OT:7760

The second half of vs. 7 can properly be understood to mean: "And appoints Jerusalem a praise in the earth."
As to your comments about America. Shall we take a long hard look at the history of the Roman Catholic Church? The Pope apologized to the Byzantine church for the invasion and sacking of Constantinople over 800 years ago; Ethiopia expelled Catholic missionaries because of the atrocities of the RCC. The Roman Catholic Church's history is filled with murder, invasion, corruption, and destruction. The crusades and the inquisitions were church mandated, supported, and encouraged to kill off any who opposed the authority (political and religious) of the Pope. The Protestant reformation was a direct consequence of the atrocities committed in the name of Christ by the Roman Catholic Church.
I personally deplore the killing of innocent civilians in any conflict. However, America has the right to go after any terrorist organization that attacks us and America has the right to defend our national sovereignty. You point fingers at the Israelis while at the same time encouraging Arab terrorists who kill and main innocent civilians for the single purpose of denying Jews the right to establish a nation where they are not discriminated against, and murdered simply because they are Jews.
In a prior post you stated that only Hitler viewed Jews as a race, however the fact the U.N. established Israel as a Jewish state belies that comment since the U.N. is made up of all nations and peoples.
You want Biblical authority for the Israel's right to exist and be recognized as an independent state? Rom 13:1-7
13:1 Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. 2 Therefore he who resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. 3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same; 4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath upon the one who practices evil. 5 Wherefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience' sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. 7 Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. NAS If you accept the validity and authority of Scripture then God established the authority of the U.N. and God established the authority of Israel to exist as a sovereign and independent state.
Is America perfect? There is no perfect political entity on the face of this earth. America is a Constitutional democracy established by God. I may not agree with my President, but I will support my President as God's chosen authority to govern this nation; and I accept Israel's God given right to protect their sovereignty as a nation by any means the elected authority of Israel deems necessary.
