Jesus was crucified on Wednesday Nisan 13 at 12 noon. Passover begins at twilight Nisan 14, which was a Wednesday evening under the Julian Calendar. If you are a member of a congregation with Hebrew roots then you should know that the Hebrew day begins at sunset or twilight. Therefore days overlap when converting Hebrew days to Julian/Gregorian days. The Sabbath begins at twilight on day 7 for Jews and at twilight on Friday for gentiles using the Julian/Gregorian names for the days of the week. I see you have decided to continue to interpret my posts instead of reading what I post with understanding. It is apparent you do the same with Scripture.
The two Mary's came to the tomb before dawn on the first day of the week. The Greek word translated "dawn" in Matthew 28:1 is:
NT:2020
epifooskoo;
to grow light, to dawn Luke 23:54
(from Thayer's Greek Lexicon, Electronic Database. Copyright (c) 2000 by Biblesoft)
I also see you are refusing to address the word "bread". Is this because it defeats your interpretation, an interpretation that is based on Catholic/Orthodox tradition?
So you see me as the antichrist who will rule for time, times, and half a time? That Daniel prophesy applies to the great tribulation. So once again you are misusing Scripture.
Do I walk as Yashua walked? Can any man walk as Yashua walked since he walked without sin? Your appeal to 1 John 2:6 was taken out of context, so let's put it in context:
1st John 2:3-6
Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
NKJV
What were Yashuah's commandments?
Matthew 22:37-40
37 Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
NKJV
So the answer to your question is yes, to the extent that living a perfect life is humanly possible. Now since you appealed to 1 John 2 what is your interpretation of 1 John 1:8-10?
I also see you have decided to avoid Acts 15:
Acts 15:22-29
Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas who was also named Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren.
23 They wrote this, letter by them:
The apostles, the elders, and the brethren,
To the brethren who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia:
Greetings.
24 Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, "You must be circumcised and keep the law" -- to whom we gave no such commandment -- 25 it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth. 28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: 29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.
Farewell.
NKJV
Not a single word about keeping the Sabbath, Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and etc. This agrees with what Paul wrote in Colossians 2:16ff. So I will ask you again are Acts 15 and Colossians 2 Scripture?
