ArchivedAPOSTASY - Sun Worship In The ChurchOkay, so you agree the Marys arrived at the empty tomb on the 1st day of the week, which is what I have maintained. Now, where do you get the idea Yashuah rose on the Sabbath? Evening is after sunset. There is no Scripture to back up your stance since the only details we are given is Yashuah was crucified on preparation day, Joseph placed the Lord's body in the tomb in the evening, the tomb was empty on the 1st day of the week and that Yashuah would be in the heart of the earth 3 days and 3 nights. So the logical conclusion is the Lord rose early on the 4th or the 1st day of the week. The first day of the week on the Julian/Gregorian Calendar is Sunday, not the Sabbath. |
