ArchivedAPOSTASY - Sun Worship In The ChurchYou say He was crucified in Nisan. The scripture says Exo 23:15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty So is Moses wrong by saying passover is in Abib? Or are you right to say Nisan? Either you are right or scripture, make you choice. I'll go with scripture and say it was Abib. I understand that the next day begins with twilight. So the 15th of Abib is the first night and the day or Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. The 16th, would be night 2 and day 2, or Thursday night and Friday morning for today's calender. And the 17th of Abib would be thrid night and day or Friday night and Saturday morning for us today. So if He rose from the grave on the third day, it was the Sabbath. Now your mistake with the definition of epiphōskō is your presenting it as one definition. It is: to grow light, or to dawn. They are not the same definitions. For example, the dawn of civilization does not mean when the sun rises on civilization, but when it began. This is the meaning that applies here. As the day began to dawn or the beginning of the day. That is the only definitions that fits without contradicting scripture. If you try to add Saturday evening, it is four nights and three days. You've said yourself that the Hebrew day begins at twilight. Now late on the Sabbath, when the dawn of the first day of the week was near. If he was speaking about before sunrise on Sunday, it wouldn't say late on the Sabbath because the Sabbath would have been over for hours because Sunday starts at twilight on Sabbath. The scriptures say that Passover is in Abib Ex 13:4, 23:15, 34:18, and Deut 16:1. For those who accept what the scriptures say, you will acknowledge that these events did not take place in Nisan, lest you call the scriptures a lie. Now, in case that is confusing I will elucidate. Sunday for Hebrews is Saturday evening and Sunday morning for us. Now Sabbath ends on our Saturday for the Hebrews. So if it is late on the Sabbath, it is our Saturday because that is when the Sabbath of the Hebrews ends, on what we call Saturday night. All of these facts confirm that dawn is not being used by the first definition but the second, which is the beginning of anything (dawn/beginning of the day, which is still Saturday evening for the Hebrews). I don't know what you mean, I'm refusing to address bread. What am I not addressing about the word bread? No I don't see you as someone who will rule for anytime. I see you as one who follows those who have changed the appointed times and laws. You are taking this out of context. The difference b/w us is that when I say you have taken something out of context, I also put it back into it's proper context by scripture, rather than just giving an opinion about it. Now, He says on these two hang all the law. He didn't say these two replace it, but that all of the law hang on these two. Have you never heard of a summary? If you love neighbor as self, you will not covet his belongings, steal from him, kill him, bear false witness against him, etc. And if you love Yahweh with all you mind heart and soul, you will obey His law. You will follow His words and not man. A man came asking what to do to inherit eternal life. Yahshua responded, thou knowest the commandments. Would you tell someone what Yahshua told them?
He said he obeyed all from a youth.
Yahshua loved him. He did not say, you are lying. You have this sin or that. Yahshua accepted his statement as truth and Yah knows the truth. But he was not able to endure what was commanded. He had works, but no faith. Today people are the opposite, they say they have faith, but no works. They had works, they obeyed the laws to an extent, but had no faith. Today people say they have faith, but don't obey the laws. There righteousness is the opposite of the Pharisees. Faith without works is dead, as James stated. Christ said He that loves me, keeps my commandments. His commandments are more than Love God and Love neighbor, though if you do those things, all the law will be kept. It was Yahshua who spoke from Sinai to Moses. There is one God and He gave us commandments. There are not commandments from one god and commandments from another. The Law is Yahshua's commandments, unless it was another God who spoke. Is that what you are saying? That one God gave commandments back then, but our NEW God gave us different commandments? If there is One God, the commandments of Yahweh are the commandments of the Son. How can you believe Yahshua when He says, "I am He," Or Yah, who says through the prophet, My people shall know my name; They shall know that I AM he that doth speak, BEHOLD, IT IS I, when you don't accept the commandments of I AM? It was I AM that spoke in the person of Yahshua. As prophecied by Isaiah. But as Christ said: And today, people don't believe His words because they don't belive Moses' words. They follow their religious traditions and traditional doctrines which are contrary to the Yahweh's Law. Although Yahweh came in the flesh and warned all to keep His commandments. You don't walk as Yahshua did. He obeyed the Laws of Yah. You call them obsolete. He never did that. He said whoever breaks the least shall be the least. You confess to break the Sabbath, which is not the least. So you walk contrary to His word. What do I say of 1 John? That no one is without sin and if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us. Now, let me ask you, how can a person confess sins to be forgiven of them, if they don't acknowledge their sins as sin? 1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Let me ask you, is God able to cleanse us from sin? If so, how do you think we would not be able to obey His Law with His Holy Spirit? Does the scripture say greater is he in the world than HE in you or greater is He in you than he that is in the world? Why do people make sin greater than God? They say we will always be sinners. A person can never stop sinning, etc. Why don't they believe Yah is able to save? Why don't they believe Yah is greater than their weaknesses and sins? It is because they don't have faith, regardless of what they say. They don't believe He is able. There's not a single word about abortion, tithing, killing, stealing, lying, using drugs, etc. Are these things ok now too? If not, then it is clear that Acts is not stating everything that should be obeyed. If acts is all the gentiles have to observe, why is the church playing the hypocrite by standing against abortion, drugs, murder, and stealing, being as though Acts 15 doesn't say anything about it? Directly afterwards they say they have the law being preach ever Sabbath. Why do you think they said that? Because they always have chance to learn the law. For (because) Moses is preached in every city, so there is no need to say anymore than these things (in verse 20). Col does not agree with you or your interpretation of Acts. You are adding to the Word. In col, Paul tells us not to let anyone judge us for respecting (observing) these things. He doesn't say let no one judge you regardless of what you do, but for being in respect of them. The colosians were not Hebrews. Why would gentiles judge them for not obeying Hebrew customs? He stated this because they would be judge by other gentiles for respecting (observing) them. Act 18:21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus. Paul kept the feasts. He MUST BY ALL MEANS KEEP it. He walked even as Yahshua, but today, people have forsaken the faith to have their ears tickled with lawlessness. I am finished with this issue. Let those who read judge their own paths. When we stand before Yah, we cannot say the preacher said this or he said that. We will have to answer for our own works. If we submit to the blind, we recieve the penalty of the blind. My those who have an ear hear. Isa 2:5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD. Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Psalms 119-105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psa 56:13 For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living? 1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Pro 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: Rev 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
