It is written:Zechariah 14:9 - And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Deuteronomy 6:4 - Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD
2 Samuel 22:3 - The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
Isaiah 19:20 - And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
Isaiah 43:11 - I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour
These Old Testament scriptures clearly testify without a doubt that there is One Lord and One Saviour,God himself states that there is no other. Furthermore he says that He will send a great saviour,???
How can there be two saviours when God says that He alone is saviour.
New Testament Scriptures which testify that Jesus is Lord and Saviour.
Philippians 2:11 - And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
John 4:42 - And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
1 Timothy 2:3 - For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Why did Jesus pray to God if He was God? As God being also in the form of man he needed prayer as we all do as an example also. And fell on his face to pray as respect.
Why did He say,"My Father is greater than I"? Also as a man he was a lesser being therefore the Father being greater.
Jesus said:Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Furthermore it is written:Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Why would they want to stone him?
It is written:And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death. Leviticus 24:16
Jesus was a blasphemer? I think not!!!
If He was a good teacher and prophet as muslims claim, why would he say that he always existed, and that the Jews took up stones to cast at him.
Jesus said,"I AM"{Gr. ego eimi} I am, I was, and I have been.
Which would also be Blasphemy taking the very name of God himself!!!
Was Jesus a blasphemer? once again I think not.
There is a difference between keeping an OPEN mind and a CLOSED heart.
God Bless!
