Science, Creation & Evolutionjust some general logic :: Re: just some general logicI'm sure it sounds a lot like the version of evolutionary science theists banter around. In my considerable experience on the subject, most theists don't seek unbiased sources on evolution. You've also failed utterly to provide one scrap of resoning or evidence as to why what I stated sounds like evolutionary science. You're going to need to support your arguments with credible evidence. This is a common misunderstanding of evolution. The university of Berkley has taken the time to explain: Misconception: “Evolution is a theory about the origin of life.” Response: Evolutionary theory deals mainly with how life changed after its origin. Science does try to investigate how life started (e.g., whether or not it happened near a deep-sea vent, which organic molecules came first, etc.), but these considerations are not the central focus of evolutionary theory. Regardless of how life started, afterwards it branched and diversified, and most studies of evolution are focused on those processes. No. That would be theism. Science abhors such things. The truth is that science can only make educated guesses at how life began. An educated guess is several orders of magnitude superior to a hyopthesis we know to be false such as the god hypothesis. "Design is a workable explanation for organized complexity only in the short term. It is not an ultimate explanation, because designers themselves demand an explanation.
