Science, Creation & Evolutionjust some general logicPlease quote specifically where Dawkins does this or retract your baseless claim.
Same as above. State specifically where he claims this or post a retraction. Of course it's not. A cop out is accepting a conclusion without properly evidencing it. By quoting the folks at Berkley, I have supported my claim with experts in the field.
You have demonstrated gross misunderstandings of evolution. Thus, the above statement is false / unevidenced.
Straw man. False. The following link demonstrates a variety of transitional fossils. http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/faq-transitional.html Furthermore, evolution does not sink or swim on the basis of evolutionary fossils. Organisms don't usually lay down and die in nice neat lines for us to find. We have found some (evidenced above) and have observed speciation in organisms with DNA. It is ID and creationism that are faith based & unsupported. Evolution is evidenced.
False. See above. Faith is the acceptance of conclusions based on a LACK of evidence. As you can see, evolution is evidenced. I'm glad we agree on this subject. It means your entire objection to evolution is intellectually bankrupt. It is akin to stating, "I believe in bricks, but brick walls!? Impossible." Appeal to popular opinion. Not at all. Dawkins addresses these individuals in his newest book and accuately points out that they were scientists IN SPITE of their religion. Particularly Galileo who was excommunicated for his troubles.
Horrible... horrible analogy. Aside from having nothing to do with his arguments, Dawkins is not a Christian. It's clear from this last statement that you have no constructive objection to Dawkins' claims. You're attacking the person instead of the argument. Unless you address his argument, I will take these last few sentiments to mean that you are unable to rebut his (or my) argument. |
