Hello Helix
Ok now let me quote from the same link
Bones of ancient human-like meat eater found in Ethiopia
Scientists speculate the bones discovered are about 2.5 million years old
Scientists: Species may be earliest known ancestor of modern man
Please note the bolded areas above
They stop short of calling them human don't they.
Edit I forgot to post this part below in the above quote
However, anthropologist Bernard Wood of George Washington University in Washington said, "I don't think we can be sure (gahri is) an ancestor of later (humans)."
How much evidence do you need? Perhaps a 100 scientists from ALL coutries of the world? Or should we construct a time machine, set it to 2,5 million years ago and SHOW you the actual animal?
If you did that you be in a void since the earth is only about 6-7 thousand years old. Quite a gamble don't you think?
First and foremost is our stomach's production of hydrochloric acid, something not found in herbivores. HCL activates protein-splitting enzymes. Further, the human pancreas manufactures a full range of digestive enzymes to handle a wide variety of foods, both animal and vegetable.
Just because we have the capibilities of digesting meat does not mean that it is good for us now does it. Think of all of the other things we have the capibilities of doing that are not good for us. Smoking. Driving recklesly and so on.
women need high quantities of iron in their daily diet to prevent anaemia. Vegetarian diets are generally high in iron from plant foods, however, this iron is not absorbed as well as the iron in meat
So? what is your point? just because it is easier to absorb from meat does not make it right.
Unfortunatly it is a big travel day for me (having to go to my inlaws and my parents) so I will be offline for the rest of the day
